Junior Financial Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Financial Accountant. My client is a telecommunications network group that specialises in fibre, with a big focus on building the future. As a Junior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for: Prepare and submit monthly management accounts, including trial balances, debtor/creditor analyses, PAYE schedules, and VAT reports monthly. Input and reconcile all invoices and accounts in Sage, ensuring they match month-end statements. Conduct daily bank reconciliations for all entities and provide weekly progress reports to directors. Develop a monthly budget for company expenses for approval and manage supplier contracts to avoid penalties. Perform monthly payroll, PAYE calculations, and e-filing submissions. Register new staff for PAYE as needed. Prepare VAT 201 submissions for director approval and assist with tax clearance certificates and annual IRP 5 forms. Record all network assets in Sage and calculate their depreciation for balance sheet inclusion. Issue monthly invoices, process debit orders, and reconcile payments with reports. Address unsuccessful transactions promptly.
