Junior Financial Accountant

Minimum Requirements:Finance Degree/DiplomaSAICA/SAIPA articles (advantageous) / Internship or articles is required1 to 2 years' experienceSAGE ERP experience (advantageous)Key Responsibilities:Month-End Close Process: Experience in overseeing month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.IFRS and Taxation: Knowledgeable in IFRS and taxation regulations to ensure compliance and optimization.Safex, Hedges, and Forex: Understanding of financial instruments to effectively manage risks and opportunities.Stock Management: Ability to create and maintain processes and controls around stock management to optimize efficiency.Management Accounting: Proficiency in managing journals and balance sheet reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.Analysis and Review: Competency in analyzing income statements and conducting stock gain/loss analysis to drive informed decision-making.Creditors Recon: Ability to review creditors reconciliations and identify control/procedure issues to ensure accuracy.Contract Management: Experience in managing contracts to align financial strategies with company goals.Business Insight: Display business insight and innovation to contribute to overall growth.Inter-Departmental Relationships: Facilitate collaboration across departments to enhance organizational effectiveness.
