Junior Financial Accountant

Job Description:As the Junior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:Post and prepare standard journal entries with precisionEnsure adherence to company policies and proceduresManage timely and accurate reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including bank accountsHighlight discrepancies and implement remediation plans to keep everything in balanceComplete standard financial control processesEnsure integrity of financial data and smooth operations across the boardLead the charge during month-end and year-end closing activitiesEnsure all financial records are accurately reported and ready to reviewPrepare and present month-end reports and detailed client profitability statementsOffer clear insights to stakeholdersReconcile client spending against the approved budgetFlag any variances foundAccurately prepare and manage unbilled media accrualsPerform detailed revenue reconciliation calculations to ensure accurate financial reportingMaintain and reconcile intercompany accountsUpload budgets into finance systemsEnsure information is accurately reflected across all platformsProvide high quality financial information and support during internal and external audits Skills & Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of commercial experience doing the full finance functionIf youve worked in a shared services environment, you will feel right at home!Strong communication and relationship-building skillsMastery of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, will make you a star in this role Qualification:SAIPA articles would be highly advantageousCompleted Finance or Accounting degreeGrade 12 (Matric) Contact ALEXANDRA MALONEY on
