Junior Financial Accountant (For Fmcg)

Overview :This role reports directly into the Financial Manager for the expanding national business. It is part of a national FMCG / wholesale business, focusing on high-end products in the electronic / imaging / personal care product space.Key Duties & Responsibilities :Preparation of journal entriesAccurate processing of intercompany reconciliationsAccurate processing and reconciliation of Management Accounts.Assist in preparation of supporting documents for relevant SARS auditsAssist with audit file preparations for external auditorsWork closely with Financial Manager to ensure adequate financial controlsGeneral admin duties / ad hoc dutiesKey Requirements :Proven experience as a Junior Financial AccountantProficient in accounting software (SAP Business One) and MS Office, with Advanced Excel experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEducation : BCom Accounting / Financial DegreeHigh attention to detail / accuracyAbility to work in a high pressurized environment and to meet deadlines timeously.Essential :3+ years' experience in working as a Junior Financial AccountantBCom Accounting / Financial DegreeExperience in working on accounting packages.Proficient in Excel (Advanced)Experience in SAP Business One is advantageous.Advantageous :Experience in SAP Business One is advantageous.
