How you'll role As a Junior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for documenting Assets Under Management (AUM) and Assets Under Administration (AUA), with a focus on financial reporting and auditing. Your duties will include examining annuitized and non-annuitized assets, classifying different financial elements like trails, commissions, and fees, as well as monitoring the maturity of structured products and aiding in assessing the tax implications of business operations. Duties & Responsibilities What you'll do Assist in categorising and analysing annuitized and non-annuitized assetsHandle reporting and auditing tasks related to funds, including but not limited to categorising trails, commissions, and feesMaintain accurate records of asset maturitiesProvide guidance and calculations on tax write-offsMaintain reports on Assets Under Management (AUM) and Assets Under Administration (AUA)Work on categorising various financial components such as trails, commissions, and feesMonitor and manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)Audit monthly issues and inflows of commissionsDesired Experience & Qualification What you'll need Bachelor's degree in AccountingStrong analytical skills with attention to detailKnowledge of financial reportingAbility to work independently and within a teamProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting softwarePrior experience or internship in auditing or accounting is a plusPackage & Remuneration R25,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
