Junior Finance Manager

My client is seeking a motivated Junior Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and challenging environment.This role is based in Wadeville, Johannesburg East.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership and oversee financial accountingDrive business growth and monitor performanceEnsure finance governance and continuous improvementDeliver insightful financial reporting for decision-makingPresent management accounts to group executivesImplement efficient month-end finalization processesManage cost-saving initiativesEnsure compliance with group reporting timelines and standardsOversee working capital management, including debtor and supplier relationshipsUnderstand and manage capex requirements and reportingConduct yearly financial audits and tax calculationsPrepare budgets and forecasts for timely submissionEngage with and train finance staff, driving team performanceFoster a culture of continuous improvement and accountabilityDrive Return on Capital Employed (ROCE)Review and approve payroll reportsEnsure statutory complianceProvide insights into manufacturing and product costingFacilitate the import processRequirements:BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance relatedCompleted SAICA/SAIPA Articles is non-negotiable5 years' experience with 2 years in a management/leadership roleStrong leadership and analytical skills
