If you are a newly qualified CA(SA) with a passion for finance and a keen interest in the financial services sector, this opportunity is perfect for you!Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support the companys strategic objectives.Variance Analysis: Perform detailed variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Financial Controls: Assist in maintaining robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit regulatory reports in accordance with industry standards and requirements.Financial Modelling: Develop and refine financial models to support business decision-making and strategy formulation.Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in various finance-related projects, including process improvement initiatives and financial analysis for special projects.Qualifications & Skills:Certification: Newly qualified CA(SA), with both board exams passed.Registration: Registered or eligible to register with SAICA.Industry Exposure: Experience in the financial services sector during articles is highly desirable.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IFRS, financial reporting, and financial management principles.Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
