About the Role:

In this role, you will play a key part in the project costing process. You will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing estimates, managing bids from vendors, and assisting with cost control throughout the project lifecycle. You will present your findings to management and collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure project success.


Responsibilities:

Analyze project documents, blueprints, drawings, and plans to understand project scope.
Identify factors impacting service/product costs.
Prepare material and cost estimates.
Develop and manage relationships with vendors and contractors.
Manage vendor and contractor bids.
Analyze bid data to create detailed cost reports.
Present estimates to management and stakeholders.
Compile and record actual project costs.
Assist with variation pricing and project costing reconciliation.
Help develop budget pricing.

Qualifications:

Minimum Matric (Grade 12).
Relevant Diploma or Degree (Beneficial).
2+ years of experience in Estimation and Cost Control.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel a must).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Deadline-oriented and highly motivated.
