Hire Resolve's client, a well-established construction company in Durbanville, is seeking a Junior Estimator to join their team.
As a Junior Estimator, you will play a vital role in supporting the estimating team in the preparation of cost estimates for construction projects.
Prepare accurate cost estimates.
Assist with tender submissions.
Package RFQs (Requests for Quotations).
Compile comprehensive BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
Measure and create BOQs from drawings.
Attend site clarification meetings for tenders and provide feedback to Senior Management.
Follow up on RFQs sent to Sub-Contractors to ensure competitive pricing.
Build relationships with Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to secure the best market prices.

Requirements Minimum Requirements: BTech in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
At least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar built environment.
Proficiency in Candy (CCS – Construction Computer Software) and MS Office .
Valid Driver's License and own transport .
Preferred Competencies: Excellent planning, organizing, communication , and interpersonal skills .
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills .
Ability to prioritize and focus on deliverables .
A motivated self-starter with a proactive and solution-driven approach .
Proven track record of meeting deadlines in a demanding environment.
