Location: Ottery, Cape Town Key Responsibilities: Technical Process Support Industrialize and maintain production processes for efficiency and quality.
Analyze data, identify trends, and propose solutions for process improvements.
Monitor operations, ensure machine reliability, and troubleshoot issues.
Train teams on best practices for equipment and processes.
Document work processes and changes effectively.
Inventory and Resource Management Manage technical supplies and equipment inventory.
Facilitate equipment procurement as needed.
Health and Safety Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain housekeeping standards and report safety incidents.
Quality & Food Safety Standards Adhere to company quality principles and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Uphold site-specific food safety systems and report hazards when applicable.
Self-Development and Team Contribution Identify personal growth opportunities and stay informed on industry innovations.

Qualifications & Experience Required: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings and fault finding.
Familiarity with equipment, raw materials, moulds, and downstream equipment.
Proficiency in project management and software tools.
Competencies: Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and a decisive approach.
