Junior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer

The Junior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer will design, development, and testing of LRUs for a leading Defence/Aerospace company. This role requires a technical knowledge in electronic circuit simulation and design as well as the ability to follow the LRU development process from preliminary design through to production.Key Responsibilities / Main Job Duties:Design, simulate and complete PCB design and routing of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) according to specifications provided by systems engineerFollow the defined electronic hardware design processes and document design according to hardware design planTake part in peer reviews of LRUsCollaborate with software, mechanical, DSP, RF and aeronautical teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware LRUsTest and validate hardware designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (DO-160, MIL-STD-704)Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware design and performanceStay updated with the latest advancements in electronic hardware technologies and apply them to projectsQualification and/or Professional License(s):BEng Electric and or Electronic, MEng Electric and or Electronic or similarYears of Experience Needed:NoneProficiency in Certain Applications and/or Software:Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, LTspice and an Electronic CAD (Altium or similar)Sound Knowledge of:Schematic design, PCB design, simulation of circuits and analysis of circuits.
