Job Title: Junior Electronic Design EngineerLocation: Airport City - Cape townSalary: Market relatedVacancy Type: Full-TimeClosing date for applications: End Dec 2024Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.1-2 years of experience in electronic circuit design and testing (internships and academic projects are acceptable).Proficiency in PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).Beneficial requirements:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with avionics standards (e.g., DO-254) and safety-critical systems is a plus.Duties and responsibilities:Assist in designing and developing electronic components and systems used in aviation applications.Conduct detailed circuit design, schematic capture, and component selection.Perform simulations and testing to ensure system reliability and performance.Collaborate with other engineers and departments (e.g., mechanical, software) to integrate electronic systems.Document designs, test results, and procedures in technical reports and specifications.
