Job Description The purpose of this role is to determine the quantum and merit of segmented motor claims by performing investigations, verifying the description of the event with the loss, negotiating with clients, intermediaries, and service providers, and settling claims within a delegated threshold and according to contract conditions.
As a Junior Assessor in the Motor space, the role would be responsible for providing a digital assessment function with assessing duties, focusing on motor claims.
You Would Assess Motor Claims and assist with Assessment Decision Making.Conduct different types of assessments and assignments.Provide feedback.Ensure fairness and impartiality.Engage in professional development.Be customer-focused and manage client expectations.Minimum Requirements Two years' experience as an automotive mechanic, automotive body repairer, or automotive spray painter, or Vehicle Damage Quantification Qualification (VDQ) with two years' experience.3+ years motor assessing experience.Qualified automotive mechanic or automotive body repairer (advantageous).Experience with Audatex/Abuntex.VDQ Certified as a minimum practicing member.System Knowledge on the following: Online systems.BPM.TIA.ICE.Audatex / Abuntex.The Recruitment process: TA Interview: A discussion with a member of the TA Team to understand our business, culture & values, and more context on the role.Panel Interview: With 2 members of the senior leadership of the data team and 1 member of the HC leadership team.Technical & Psychometric Assessments: These will depend on the role and may happen concurrently with MIE & Internal Verification.Final Feedback.Closing Date: 21 October 2024
