Job Description The purpose of the role is to determine the quantum and merit of segmented motor claims by performing investigations, verifying the description of the event with the loss, negotiating with clients, intermediaries, and service providers, and settling claims within a delegated threshold and according to contract conditions.
As a Junior Assessor in the Motor space, the role would be responsible for providing a digital assessment function with assessing duties, focusing on motor claims.
You Would Assess Motor Claims and assist with Assessment Decision Making. Different Types of Assessments and Assignments. Giving Feedback. Fairness and Impartiality. Professional Development. Being Customer-focused and managing clients' expectations. Minimum Requirements 2 years' experience as an automotive mechanic, automotive body repairer, or automotive spray painter, or a Vehicle Damage Quantification Qualification (VDQ) with two years' experience. 3+ years of motor assessing experience. Qualified automotive mechanic or automotive body repairer (advantageous). Audatex/Abuntex experience. VDQ Certified minimum Practicing member. System Knowledge on the following: BPM TIA ICE Audatex / Abuntex The Recruitment Process: TA Interview: A discussion with a member of the TA Team to provide an understanding of our business, culture & values, and context on the role. Panel Interview: With 2 members of the senior leadership of the data team and 1 member of the HC leadership team. Technical & Psychometric Assessments: Depending on the role and may occur concurrently with MIE & Internal Verification. Final Feedback. Closing Date: 21 October 2024
