Key Responsibilities:Data Collection & Management:Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources (e.g., project management systems, financial records, production data).Ensure data integrity and accuracy by conducting routine data validation and quality checks.Collaborate with different departments to understand data requirements and provide data support.Data Analysis & Reporting:Analyse construction project data, financial performance, resource allocation, and other key performance indicators.Generate regular reports and dashboards to track project progress, cost management, and workforce performance.Use data visualization tools to present data insights in an easily digestible format for management and team leaders.Trend Analysis & Forecasting:Assist in identifying trends and patterns in project costs, resource utilization, and team productivity.Support the development of predictive models and forecasting reports based on historical data to inform future project planning.Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with project managers, HR, and other departments to ensure data insights are aligned with operational needs.Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve project outcomes and operational efficiency.Database Management & Optimization:Support the optimization of internal databases to improve data retrieval processes and support better decision-making.Assist in maintaining and improving the accuracy of company databases, ensuring that data is up-to-date and accessible.Requirements: Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.Certification in Data Analytics or Data Science (e.g., Google Data Analytics Certificate, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.At least 1-2 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.Familiarity with handling large datasets and extracting insights from project-related data.Extensive experience with SQL, Excel, Power BI and other data analysis tools is essential.Experience with construction industry-specific data (e.g., cost analysis, project timelines, resource utilization) is a plus.Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data in simple terms.Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Effective communication skills for presenting data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersEagerness to learn and grow in the field of data analysis.Strong interest in applying data analytics to optimize construction project performance and operations.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.Critical thinker with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
