Job Summary To provide specialist advice & support in the development & implementation of IT security service delivery processes, methods and techniques enabling secure management & control of IT access, in alignment with governance requirements.

Are you ready to make a difference? Our Converged Security Office prides itself in its unique structure that sees an integration and collaboration model between our Information Risk, Cyber, Resilience, Physical Security & Forensics teams to ensure effective risk management across all disciplines.

You will be a member of the Cybersecurity Operations team with primary responsibility for responding to security events, acting as part of a 24x7 team in relation to identified events for the relevant technical support groups, businesses at risk and Service Recovery teams both internally and externally. Your responsibility includes the identification, management and mitigation of security events as detected by monitoring, internal and external intelligence, vulnerability assessment and internal problem management tools and procedures.

What you'll get to do: Works as part of a multidisciplinary global & regional team in the delivery of information security and privacy response services to the global retail and commercial enterprise. Responsible for the management of incidents, including notification, escalation response and post-incident review. Contributes to the execution of triage controls to detect and prevent attackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardising e-commerce programs. Escalates as per defined incident response guidelines regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information. Delivers recommendations and actions to improve the detection, escalation, containment and resolution of data security incidents. Incident management on the Bank's incident management platform. Investigates using the organisation's stack of technology tools. Improves and challenges existing processes and procedures in a very agile and fast-moving environment. Communicates and coordinates with other cybersecurity teams, internal business units and upper management. Identify new threats and trends. Improve detection of threats. Prepare technical reports. Stays current with global developments in the industry through research, periodicals, seminars, training, vendor site visits, and memberships. What do you need to get in? Grade 12 (NQF level 4). Must have completed 3 year Cyber Academy Qualification. Technology savvy. Stakeholder management. Analytical skills. Mechanical aptitude. Education Higher Diplomas: Physical, Mathematical, Computer and Life Sciences (Required).
