About the Role We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior CRM Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team in Cape Town.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and executing innovative CRM campaigns across various channels, including email, push notifications, SMS, and WhatsApp.
Your focus will be on leveraging data, segmentation, and personalisation to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities: Campaign Management:Manage day-to-day CRM activities across all channels (email, push notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.
).Develop and execute targeted campaigns for new, active, loyal, and dormant customers.Build intelligent campaigns and initiatives through customer segmentation.Collaborate with the Head of Brand to brief, project manage, and execute unique CRM campaigns.Create segment journeys to optimize customer engagement.Technical Management:Oversee the technical aspects of CRM processes, including API connectors and platform management.Ensure smooth implementation of CRM campaigns by developing detailed implementation plans with clear objectives, timelines, and budgets.Monitor campaign performance and budget allocation.Data Analysis & Insights:Perform in-depth customer data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Develop customer profiles and segmentations based on data insights.Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns.Automation & Personalization:Utilize email automation tools (e.g., Iterable) to create personalized, automated workflows and dynamic content.Implement A/B testing to optimize campaign elements (subject lines, copy, design, sending times).Design & Collaboration:Collaborate with design and content teams to create visually appealing and engaging email templates.Work closely with other departments (e.g., product, sales) to ensure seamless campaign execution.Compliance & Best Practices:Ensure all campaigns comply with data protection laws and industry best practices.Maintain high standards for email deliverability, design, and user experience.Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.Essential: Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for email template coding/design.+2 years of experience in CRM marketing.Experience in the travel industry is highly advantageous.Proven track record of success in developing and executing CRM campaigns.Experience with email automation tools (e.g., Iterable).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Photoshop.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Personal Competencies: Passionate about travel and the online travel industry.Driven and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Creative and innovative with a 'start-up' mentality.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.A strong desire to learn and grow within the role.The Growth team offers a vibrant and fast-paced work environment with opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals and contribute to company growth.
