Job DescriptionMAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOBMaintain quality, efficiency and confidentiality of serviceLiaise with Senior AdministratorContinuously upgrade the quality of services offeredEstablish, direct and review the system of application, recording, certification, filing, sample storage and field auditingCommunicate with other branches/divisions and the laboratory to achieve required turn around time for all submitted samplesCompiling of Spreadsheets of results, updating daily and reporting to clientsAssist Commercial and Senior Commercial AdministratorLiaise with the ClientsTo carry out or supervise submittal of samples with sample submission formTo ensure compliance with all the requirements of the inspection orderKeep direct superior informed regarding progress and/or non conformanceLiaise with local clients regarding pertinent details and information related to the operationsAssist in continuously upgrading the quality of services offered, in support of "Customer Services" policy and minimize client complaints and claimsCheck the inspector's claim forms in context with work executedGeneral office dutiesAdhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management systemPerform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.SPECIFIC AUTHORITIESCease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or enter hazardousenvironment without the necessary knowledge and protection and report the situation to higher authorityto action.Cease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and report the situations to higher authority to take action.Initiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified or when nonconformity is identified.QualificationsEducationMinimum Grade 12 (Matric)Computer Literacy in Word and Excel, Microsoft outlookExperienceMinimum of 1-2 years of Trade related experience or similarLanguages: Proficiency in English (Read, Speak, Write)Typing SkillsIf the incumbent is new in the industry, background and qualifications shall be a criteriaCompetenciesGood interpersonal skillsAbility to problem solveCalculation capability – To ensure accurate scoring of clients results
