Is this you?You've got that hard earned CFA level 1 and now you just need to apply it!Your investment foundation has equipped you to know what it takes to support a Portfolio Manager in managing their clients' investments by being the "go between" between the investment team and the Portfolio Manager. You'll be applying your technical investment administration abilities while dealing with stakeholders at all levels.What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)You will be the backbone for the Portfolio Manager to ensure client presentations are on point. You'll manage the onboarding of clients, sorting of FICA documents, conduct assessments of clients, and analyze client affairs. You will maintain and update client lists, provide tax statements, and calculate expected Capital Gain Tax. You will prepare new client reviews and proposals, monitor cash flow forecasting, and monitor client portfolios regularly. You will also infuse your vibrant organizational skills to add value to client meetings, generate reports, and ensure that trades are executed flawlessly with precision and speed.Where you'll be doing itYou'll be joining a well-established family office wealth manager with a global reach, with offices in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and America. They provide advisory services to families with generational wealth. You will be based in professional offices in Melrose, Johannesburg.What you'll needYou will need to have gained at least 2 years of experience in the investment industry conducting administration and support to Portfolio Managers. You also need to have a completed Bachelor of Commerce in business/economics/investments related and ideally an Honours. You also need to have completed CFA level 1.
