Junior Buyer

Identify all suppliers of specific raw materials and evaluate their prices, payment terms, quality and service levels. Conduct annual supplier audits and evaluations. Conduct monthly evaluation on raw material prices Identify and evaluate possible new raw materials which create a cost saving. Decrease transport cost with back load opportunities or multi-leg routes. Recons and average prices should be made available to Group Purchasing Manager and Management daily. Determine and plan the raw material requirements of each facility according to the sales forecast formulation breakdown and schedule deliveries accordingly. Communicate stock levels at relative to the minimum required levels Ensure that raw materials purchased conform to minimum procurement specifications and to the requirement of the technical and quality department. Ensure that the supplier files are always up to date Handle any queries and concerns with suppliers and provide feedback to Group Purchasing Manager.
