Junior Buyer

To provide assistance to the Buyers and senior Buyers in identifying and procuring goods and services that Procure Man requires. Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones. Negotiating contracts, improved prices and terms.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12.1 year buying experience.Knowledge in Mining & Crushing Products / Industrial Tools will be advantageous.Previous buying or retail experience will be advantageous.Experience in Buildsmart will be beneficial.Marketing/Merchandising related additional qualifications will be beneficial but not a requirement.Team Player.Computer Literate.Good Communications Skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Attending to detail to ensure specifications are being met and quality of purchases is up to standard.Demonstrating a passion for the type of products being purchased and a willingness to continuously stay up-to-date on trends.Must be able to work under pressure.
