Junior Buyer

Job Description We are looking for a JUNIOR BUYER.
The successful candidate must be dynamic and a fast learner as they will be required to work independently.
Minimum Requirements: Mathematics or Mathematics Literacy in Grade 12 Computer Literate Experience in ERP Systems as well as Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 1-2 years experience in Supply Chain Studies in B Com direction with subjects like Supply Chain and Procurement would be a plus Responsibilities: Assisting with the supply chain process which includes: Sourcing suppliers and request quotes Processing of purchase orders (local and import) and expediting deliveries Stock taking Stock reconciliation and adjustments Assist with monthly pricing on BC and yearly budget calculations Assist with tender process Maintain procedures and create new procedures Take responsibility for identified contracts General admin within the department Minimum Critical Requirements: Good interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Able to negotiate with suppliers Must be able to prioritize large amounts of work under pressure Adaptable to changing circumstances with good problem-solving skills Positive attitude and ethical approach to business
