Junior Bookkeeper

Job DescriptionOur thriving Company is seeking a detail-oriented and organised individual to join our team as a Junior Bookkeeper. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career in accounting while providing essential support to our dynamic team.
Strong client interaction and communication skills are crucial for this position as you will be liaising with clients to gather information and provide excellent service.
Responsibilities:

Data entry and maintenance of financial records for clients
Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes
General ledger reconciliations
Preparation and processing of client invoices
Petty cash management and expense claim processing
Providing administrative support, including answering phones, filing, and scheduling appointments
Contributing to general office management tasks
Assisting with bookkeeping tasks including capturing transactions, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns and remittances.

Requirements:

Matric with Mathematics
Zoho, Xero, QuickBooks or Sage Online experience
Bookkeeping qualification or substantial bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
