Junior Bookkeeper

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to assist with the day-to-day financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge, good organizational skills, and a passion for working with numbers.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with recording financial transactions (invoices, payments, expenses, etc.).
Maintain and update financial records in accounting software.
Reconcile bank statements and track cash flow.
Assist in preparing financial reports (profit & loss, balance sheets, etc.).
Help with VAT calculations and submissions.
Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding payments and outstanding invoices.
Assist in other finance and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements
Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent, with a qualification in bookkeeping or accounting (advantageous).
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
