Junior Bookkeeper

Minimum Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience as a Bookkeeper in an accounting environment. Proficiency in Sage Online, Pastel and SARS Efiling. Matric. Relevant tertiary qualification. Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles. Valid Drivers License and own vehicle. Roles and Responsibilities Process financial transactions from bank statements to trial balance. Manage monthly payroll processing. Handle monthly VAT calculations and processing. Conduct monthly account reconciliations. Manage SARS follow-ups and correspondence. Capture and submit returns on SARS eFiling. Travel to client sites when necessary to perform bookkeeping duties. (travel reimbursed) Work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
