Responsibilities:Drafting summonses, applications, affidavits and other legal processesHaving affidavits attestedRegistering on, loading and effectively utilising CaseLines and Court Online to keep track of and monitor progress made in matters assigned to you and other members of our Legal Process Team (LPT)Effectively profiling and proceeding with legal action against juristic entities and suretiesConducting deceased estate and insolvency searchesCorresponding with liquidators, trustees, and executorsLiaison with correspondent attorneys, the courts, sheriffs and our JHB office to ensure smooth and effective workflowProviding opinions about credit law and changes to legislation Responding to court queries comprehensively, promptly and professionallyProviding occasional training to LPT colleagues and employeesActively working accounts allocated to youPreparing reports ahead of meetings with debtorsEnsuring that legal action is instituted against debtors when necessaryAppearing in court when requiredPreparing briefs to counselDrafting templatesDealing with post-judgment accounts, including warrants of execution and bank account attachmentsRequirementsPrevious experience in a similar roleCompleted articles and is due to be admitted or recently admitted Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
