Well established firm of attorneys are looking for a Junior Attorney to join their team.
Our client is looking for an individual that has recently completed their articles and is due to be admitted or preferably a junior attorney.Overview of role:Drafting summonses, applications, affidavits and other legal processHaving affidavits attestedRegistering on, loading and effectively utilising CaseLines and Court Online to keep track of and monitor progress made in matters assigned Profiling and proceeding with legal action against juristic entities and suretiesConducting deceased estate and insolvency searchesCorresponding with liquidators; trustees and executorsLiaison with correspondent attorneys, the courts, sheriffs Providing opinions in relation to credit law and changes to legislationResponding to court queries Preparing reports ahead of meetings with debtorsEnsuring that legal action against debtors is instituted when necessaryAppearing in court when required to soPreparing briefs to counselDrafting templatesDealing with post judgment accounts, including warrants of execution and bank account attachments.
