Junior Assistant Accountant – Hotel Group - Central Durban

Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Assistant Accountant to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of basic accounting principles and a desire to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment.You will assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.Key Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.Assist with the processing of invoices, payments, and payroll.Support the finance team with month-end closing procedures.Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.Provide general administrative support to the finance department as required.Minimum Requirements:A diploma or degree in accounting or finance.Previous experience in an accounting role or internship is advantageous.Strong numerical and analytical skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in the finance field.Between 1 - 3 Years of experience.
