IntroductionWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Application Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to users, generation and preparation of system reports as needed, and resolving software-related issues. You will work closely with other support specialists and developers to diagnose and troubleshoot problems, document solutions, and maintain accurate records. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in the IT field.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical support to users via phone, email, and on-site support as needed.Diagnose and troubleshoot software-related issues, including configuration and functionality problems.Escalate complex issues to senior support specialists or developers.Participate in the onboarding of new users, including training as required.Investigate and analyze system issues to determine the cause of issues and appropriate corrective action.Review and recommend continuous improvement of the systems and support processes.Document technical information and processes for existing and newly developed functionality.Assist with testing and debugging of new software releases.Generate reports and tailor them as per user requirements.Stay up-to-date on the latest software versions and technologies.Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with users and team members.Desired Experience & QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar preferred.Strong understanding of computer software.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Valid driver's license and experience in driving.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Cloud-Based systems & performance/risk management tools a plus.Package & RemunerationR10,000 pm CTC on a 12-month contract, with the option to become permanent based on candidate performance.Opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.Work with a team of experienced and supportive IT professionals.
