Junior Accountant - Mining - Jhb

This role is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to gain valuable experience in the mining sector while working in a dynamic and challenging environment.Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports specific to the mining sectorSupport the accounts payable and receivable processesConduct bank reconciliations and assist with payroll administrationPerform general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in financial dataHelp with the budgeting and forecasting processesCollaborate with the finance team on month-end and year-end close proceduresParticipate in various ad-hoc accounting projects as requiredRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPreferable completed articles at a reputable auditing firm6 - 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the mining or related sectorProficiency in MS Excel and financial accounting softwareStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamHigh level of integrity and professionalismBenefits:Market Related Salary
