Junior Accountant - Mining

This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level accounting professional to gain experience in the mining sector and contribute to the financial operations of a well-established company.Responsibilities:Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entriesPrepare and review financial statements and reportsAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesConduct regular reconciliations of balance sheets and bank accountsAssist with month-end and year-end closing proceduresSupport senior accountants in financial analysis and decision-making processesEnsure compliance with accounting principles and internal policiesAssist with ad-hoc accounting projects as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field4-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the mining industryFamiliarity with mining-specific accounting principles and regulationsProficiency in accounting software and MS ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdaptability and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
