The Junior Accountant is responsible for processing all released purchase orders, resolving internal and external queries, and reviewing monthly supplier statements to ensure that expenses are complete and in compliance with the company's financial policies and procedures, while adhering to general accounting practices.KEY PERFORMANCE AREASEnsure all released PO's are received daily.Ensure all PO's are allocated correctly.Effectively handle any queries relating to relevant accounts and provide feedback timeously.Ensure statements received from suppliers are worked through to identify missing invoices & follow up on these.Ensure all documents are correctly filed electronically and that the filing system is accurately maintained. All creditors' statements to be saved on the H drive.Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.QualificationsExperience in stock accounting will be beneficial.Minimum 3-year diploma (accounting related).Experience in BC NAV will be beneficial.Salary band – R13k – R20k.Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements.Should you not receive a response to your application within two weeks please consider your application unsuccessful.
