A well established company based in Roodepoort is seeking a Junior Accountant. Duties: Cashbook capture & reconcile 2 Credit Card : capture & reconcile 3 Debtors & Creditors : Capture & Reconcile 4 Monthly returns : VAT PAYE, SDL & UIF Workmen's Compensation 5 Statutory Registrations VAT PAYE, SDL & UIF Workmen's Compensation 6 Draft Financial & management statements 7 Salaries & Wages - Monthly / bi-weekly /Weekly payroll - EMP 201 monthly submission - UI 19 monthly submission - ROE Submission (Annual Submission) - IPR 5 reconciliation & IRP 5 issue ( Annual & Bi-Annual) 8 Taxation : - Personal income tax : calculate & completion of return ( IT 12) - Provisional Tax - Personal & CC's (IRP6) - Completion of tax return for CC & Pty Ltd (IT14) - Reconciliation of tax assessments 9 Liaise with SARS regarding various matters (Objections / Escalations) 10 Liaise with Tax Ombudsman (regarding unresolved matters)s: Requirements: B Comm (Accounting or Financial Management) - completed or working towards Audit & Taxation as subjects essential. Valid Drivers Licence Computer Literacy: MS Office (Outlook,Excel) VIP Payroll (not essential, but a plus) Case ware
