Junior Accountant

Hire Resolve's Client is currently seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join their finance team in Pietermaritzburg.
This opportunity is ideal for an entry-level candidate looking to kickstart their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with general accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable Help prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Perform bank reconciliations and assist with payroll processing Support financial audits and assist with the resolution of discrepancies Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities Support the team with ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships are a plus) Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Benefits Market Related Salary Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move today!
