Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and perform clerical duties.- Perform reconciliations (bank, petty cash, debtors, and creditors reconciliations).- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts.- Monitor and tracking of expenses.- Assist in audit preparation.- Updating and maintaining accounting system and processing backups.- Support the month-end closing process.- Provide support on various finance projects and ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements- Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate accounting principles- Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounting/Finance NON NEGOTIABLE- Familiarity with financial management, budgeting, and financial auditing- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Excel in particular)- Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software is a plus- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance NON NEGOTIABLE
