Data Entry and Financial Record Maintenance: Recording daily financial transactions, entering data into accounting software, and maintaining accurate records.Accounts Payable and Receivable: Processing invoices, handling payments, and managing vendor and client accounts.
They may also help with collections and reconciling accounts.Assisting with Audits: Helping prepare and organize financial documents for audits, both internal and external.Bank Reconciliations: Comparing the company's bank statements with its financial records to ensure accuracy.Preparing Financial Reports: Assisting in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports for review by senior staff.Expense Tracking and Reimbursements: Monitoring expenses, processing reimbursement requests, and maintaining records of expenditures.Payroll Assistance: Supporting payroll processing by verifying employee hours, tracking deductions, and ensuring payroll records are updated.Supporting Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in preparing budgets, analyzing variances, and generating financial forecasts.Compliance and Tax Filing: Supporting tax preparations, maintaining compliance with relevant financial regulations, and helping with tax documentation.Providing Support for Financial Analysis: Assisting in analyzing financial data to help the team make strategic decisions.Administrative Tasks: Organizing financial documents, scheduling meetings, and communicating with vendors or clients.
