Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant Tygervalley Durbanville Cape Town Our Engineering Consultancy client in Tygervalley Durbanville is looking for a Junior Accountant with 2 years plus experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, Financial Administration, foreign currencies and dealing loading of foreign transactions.
Loading Foreign invoices in different currencies.
Salary Negotiable Hours 8am – 5pm – Monday to Friday Min Requirements Matric plus financial qualification
Proficiency in accounting software (Pastel Partner).
Financial Administration experience
Experience with foreign currencies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field is advantageous.

Foreign Suppliers & Foreign Currencies Bookkeeping
Assist with Payments and recons
Assist with debtors and creditors recons
Providing accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department
Typing accurately, preparing, and maintaining accounting documents and records
General ledger postings and statements
Reconciliations
