Shift Pursuit has partnered with an accounting firm in Durbanville, Cape Town and we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals currently pursuing a BCom degree in accounting. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the seamless delivery of the client's accounting services, handling a range of diverse tasks that ensure accuracy and professionalism.
Requirements: BCom degree in accounting (completed or in progress)Key Performance Areas: Engage in professional development by registering for and completing Articles with SAIPA, CIMA, or SAIBA.Attain certification as a Xero Certified Advisor, demonstrating proficiency in using the platform for accounting tasks.Collect, verify, and analyse financial information from clients to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.Allocate transactions correctly on Xero and prepare management accounts with precision.Send management accounts to Senior Accountant for review.Execute necessary journal entries and provide Xero training to clients to enhance their understanding of the platform.Start your professional career today and send your updated CV to ****** or give us a call on 087 821 8309.
