Employer DescriptionHotel group with properties across South Africa. Position to be based at their Head Office in JHB North.Job DescriptionPurpose: The Inventory Controller oversees the stock administration of all operational facilities (11) that contains the companys shop/ kitchen inventory The person reports to the General Operations Manager in terms of physical stock such as tracking the arrival of new inventory and maintaining necessary documentation and to the Financial Manager for the maintaining financial processing of all stock movements including monthly stock takes and maintaining data base(s).Monitoring: Monitor stock levels, re-order quantities to prevent running out of stockImplementation: Evaluate and developing new inventory control systems and practises and training operational staff on proceduresCommunication: Communicating with suppliers to ensure the efficiency of shipments and quality of products.Coordinating: Processing of stock orders, stock transfers, deliveries and inventory processing proceduresForecasting: Predict possible outcomes and plan accordingly when changes occur with supply and demand i.e compensate orders to ensure stock availabilityTracking: Track status of all products orders to prevent overstocking or stock outage.Analysing: Analysing supply chain and warehouse (shop & kitchen) metrics to increase efficiency and resolve issues with workflow.Reconciliation: Reconciles actual stock count(s) to computer-generated report and investigate variancesReporting: Reports on all warehouse metrics, including supply chain, purchase, sales, sales margin, stock holding analysis for management reportingMaintaining: Maintaining of all databases of all records, including inventory, pricing and purchases for increased organization and efficiency of workflow.QualificationsRelevant qualificationSkillsExperienced inventory manager with serval years of proven success in inventory and distribution procedures. Skilled at improving inventory workflows, enhancing logistical processes and leading operational team. TallOrder Point of Sale (POS) System and web-app myStock (TallOrder) Inventory Management System essential.BenefitsN/A
