Our client is seeking a Junior Analyst to join their dynamic team and support the financial analysis, modelling and investment monitoring activities within their growing portfolio.Position: Junior AnalystLocation: SandtonClosing Date: 30 November 2024What You'll Do:Conduct financial analysis, modelling and valuations with guidance from senior team members.Assist in preparing quarterly performance reports and investment proposals for investors.Support the monitoring and evaluation of investments within the company portfolio.Research financial market trends and news to inform investment decisions.Aid the team in investment due diligence, including reviewing company financials, industry data and legal documents.Support the preparation of presentations and communications for both internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate with senior analysts and managers to ensure fund documentation compliance and alignment with regulatory guidelines.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investments, Accounting, or a related field.CFA designation or actively pursuing CFA (preferred).Strong financial modelling, forecasting and valuation skills.Proficiency in Excel; VBA coding is a plus.A solid understanding of financial statements and investment concepts.Keen interest in renewable energy and sustainable investment.Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.Key Competencies:Communication SkillsResearch SkillsAnalytical ThinkingCollaborationIf you're eager to learn and grow in the field of investment analysis and contribute to the success of the clients' funds, we want to hear from you!
