Jnr Diesel Mechanic

Key Responsibilities: Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and systems.Must have knowledge and experience of trailer brakes and suspension.Perform routine maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other standard services.Inspect and troubleshoot issues related to engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.Use diagnostic tools to assess mechanical systems and identify malfunctions.Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of engines and other systems for repair.Maintain work records and reports of completed tasks.Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.Support senior mechanics with complex repairs and installations. Qualifications: High school diploma or certificate.Trade test certificate.Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment.Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.Previous experience or internship in a workshop.Willingness to learn and grow in the diesel mechanics field.Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs or 23 kg).Capability to work in different weather conditions and environments.Willing to work shifts.
