Jnr Credit Manager

One of our top Financial Clients are looking to appoint a Junior Credit Manager to manage the credit approval process, ensure effective credit control, and maintain strong relationships with BDO's and the new business support staff.Key Responsibilities:Credit Risk Assessment prior to credit meetings.Evaluate the credit worthiness of prospective and existing commercial clients.Lead and manage a team of new business support staff.Manage the day to day responsibility of reviewing scorecards prepared by the new business support staff.Manage the day to day responsibility of new business support staff drawing up contracts and the documentation in for payout.Manage the expected payouts per week directly from the BDO's together with expected payouts for the month and report to the finance department.Manage the renewal of credit facilities of existing clients on a yearly basis.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ year's experience in a commercial credit management environmentProficiency in financial analysis, credit scoring models, and accounting software.Strong ability to analyze financial data and make sound credit decisionsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing credit limits and assessing risk.Ability to resolve complex credit and collection issues effectively.Proven experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.Understanding of the company's industry sector and market trends affecting credit risk.
