BCom Financial Assistant – Graduate We are looking to recruit Finance Graduates for to join our company, to work within the Finance department of an international Manufacturing company.
You will be responsible to assist in the general financial administrative tasks as well as perform reconciliations.
The role will be based at our Head Office in Kempton Park area and will report to the financial manager Completed BCom Accounting degree or studying towards • 2- 8 years experience in a similar role Job description & Skills • Import and reconciliation of several bank accounts on in-house system • Reconciliation of customers and suppliers • Petty Cash allocations • Income Statement journals • Bank allocations • Customer EFTs and payments • Creditor capturing and payments • Other responsibilities as might be required Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications and Experience: • Relevant finance qualification from a recognized University (Essential) BCom accounting or BCom Finance • Accounting and bookkeeping knowledge essential • Computer literacy (Excel, Word,) (Essential) • Proficiency on e-mail desirable Skills, Abilities and Job Related Knowledge: • Numeracy and Analytical skills • Strong attention to detail • Verbal and written communication skills • Good time management skills • Ability to follow rules and procedures • Ability to work on own initiative • Problem solving skills • Ability to work with people and in a team Competencies: • Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations • Adhering to Principles and Values • Coping with Pressures and Setbacks • Analyzing • Planning and Organizing • Following Instructions and Procedures
