Role Overview: We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Associates to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Command Centre. As a Clinical Associate you will provide virtual care services to patients, with occasional home visits as necessary. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of healthcare and contribute to the advancement of telemedicine. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality virtual care services to patients through video and telephonic consultations utilising our advanced telehealth platform. Conduct thorough medical assessments, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, and review medications following established protocols and guidelines. Utilise your clinical knowledge and experience to offer patients evidence-based medical advice and recommendations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including medical doctors, nurses, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the Quro Medical Insight Platform our dynamic electronic medical record (EMR) system, adhering to relevant privacy and confidentiality regulations. Maintain open communication with patients, addressing their concerns and providing education and guidance regarding their health conditions and treatment plans. Perform occasional home visits to patients requiring in-person assessments, treatments, or follow-ups, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines. Stay updated with the latest advancements in telehealth, hospital at home and clinical medicine, attend regular training sessions, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor of Clinical Medical Practice (BCMP) with active registration with HPCSA. 1-2 years of experience. Strong knowledge of evidence-based medicine and ability to apply clinical guidelines appropriately. Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care delivery is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly and compassionately. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for home visits, if required. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting clinical staff and contributing to a positive work environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues, patients, and external stakeholders.
