We are seeking an experienced JDE Functional Distribution consultant to provide managed service and project support for multiple global customers.
The successful candidate will work remotely, supporting and implementing Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) applications.
This is a remote position .
Please note this is a 2-month contract!
To commence on the 1st of November.
Key Responsibilities: Provide proactive and reactive support for customer JDE systems from a Functional perspective.
Ensure smooth operation of customer systems and resolve issues within contracted service levels.
Actively solicit, identify, and respond to customer questions and assist with issue resolution.
Provide users with workarounds, troubleshoot with developers, propose SQL fixes, and liaise with Oracle for bug fixes as needed.
Follow the client's Managed Services consulting methods and processes.
Collaborate and build relationships with other consultants, customer staff, and third-party consultants.
Identify and resolve JDE system errors.
Update and maintain JDE configuration.
Guide users in following correct JDE procedures.
Perform proactive and reactive maintenance of JDE systems from a Functional perspective.
Participate in project specification and testing of new customized JDE applications or modifications to existing JDE applications.
Engage in ad-hoc project work, including implementations, upgrades, customizations, or process changes.
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a JDE application support or consulting capacity.
Strong knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) applications, particularly in Distribution modules.
Experience in Warehouse Management is advantageous.
Solid understanding of business concepts and strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to learn new functionality and customer customizations quickly.
Comfortable working with highly knowledgeable JD Edwards end-users.
Capable of quickly understanding unique client requirements and configurations.
Experience in remote work environments and ability to manage time effectively.
Additional Requirements: Ensure compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, and any other applicable data protection legislation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Strong time management and self-motivation skills.
