We are seeking an experienced JDE Development consultant to provide managed service and project support for multiple global customers.
This is a remote position based in South Africa, and the candidate needs to be available to start on the 1st of November Please note that this will be a 2-month contract!
Key Responsibilities Debug, design, develop, and test Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) applications Provide proactive and reactive support for customer JDE systems from a Development perspective Ensure customer systems run smoothly and resolve issues according to agreed procedures and contracted service levels Participate in ad-hoc project work, including implementations, upgrades, customizations, and process changes Develop and modify information systems using professional expertise Collaborate with business analysts, customers, functional consultants, and project team members to support detailed program and technical specifications Code, test, debug, and document using appropriate development tools and SDLC processes Adhere to ethical development standards and provide appropriate system documentation Follow Navisite Managed Services consulting methods and processes Build and maintain relationships with other consultants, customer staff, and third-party consultants Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 5 years' experience in a JDE application support or consulting capacity Experience in JDE implementation, upgrade, retrofitting, and support projects Proficiency in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing ERP systems Functional knowledge of Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Advanced Warehousing (advantageous) Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting Compliance with data protection legislation, including DPA and EU GDPR, is required.
