Java Development Manager – Centurion/ Hybrid - R1.3M Per Annum

Fast-paced PTA based financial institution require a Java experienced Development Manager with previous commercial Java development experience in conjunction with team leadership skills.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Team management: Lead and mentor a team of Java developers Oversee daily operations and ensure project milestones are met Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs Project Coordination: Plan, execute, and deliver software projects on time and within budget Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards Manage the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors for system integrations, upgrades, and maintenance Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative environment among teams and departments Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders Liaise with senior management to align IT strategies with business goals Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies Provide technical guidance and support to the development and IT teams Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements Reference Number for this position is GZ59301 which is a permanent position based in Centurion
