We are seeking a dedicated Japanese Speaking Annotation Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of advanced natural language processing models. As an Annotator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality annotated datasets that will be used to train and improve generative AI models. Your meticulous attention to detail and linguistic expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our models.

Annotation Creation: Develop annotated datasets by carefully annotating and labeling diverse text samples.
A day in the life
You will provide labels and annotation for various projects across our organizations, some projects will last longer than others, but expect a variation of different label and annotation requests month to month.

We evaluate user research, customer experience knowledge, data, and cross-Amazon Moderation expertise to ensure other teams think about customer trust.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must have completed a Matric/Grade 12/NQF4 or equivalent of higher qualification. Proficiency in multiple languages, both spoken and written, with a keen eye for linguistic nuances in Japanese and English. Strong understanding of linguistic concepts, grammar, syntax, and language variations. Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Japanese to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in using annotation tools and software. Ethical and professional approach to handling sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in linguistic annotation, data labeling, or similar roles is a plus. Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning concepts is advantageous.
