It Technician

Our client in George is seeking a skilled IT Technician to join their dynamic team.The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain network systems, and ensure smooth and secure daily operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line support to users, resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networking equipment.Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and effective manner.Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and ensure connectivity for end-users.Implement and maintain data security protocols, including antivirus and firewall updates.Maintain records of IT assets, update technical documentation, and log resolved issues.Provide guidance and training to end-users on system functionality, security, and best practices.Required Skills and QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.A+ Certification, Network+, or other IT certifications (preferred).Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detailPlease note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
