Essential Health Pharmacy Group is recruiting for an IT Technician.
This role will involve a combination of IT infrastructure, systems management and networking.
The position is based at our Head Office in Brackenfell.Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure IT equipment: Computers, laptops, laying of network cables, install of IP Phones, installation and configure of IP-CCTV camera'sMaintain computer networksCreate firewalls and update virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protectedTroubleshoot, resolve, and communicate network issues to employees and managementMaintain current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systemsProvide end user supportMonitor software solutionsTroubleshoot software issues and end-user problemsSupport software integration and associated infrastructureProvide on-site network supportEnsure the alignment of technology and business objectivesKeep abreast of the latest technology and process improvements with a focus on continuous improvementEnsure efficient and cost-effective BAU support is delivered to the customer in line with the business objectivesManage Microsoft ServerEngage frequently with the pharmacies to maintain awareness of expectations and service delivery experiencesPerform ad hoc responsibilities as required to support the operational requirements of the pharmacies and central officeTravel between pharmacies from time to timeQualifications and Experience:Completed IT related National Diploma (Required)Advanced skills in using Microsoft products, especially Excel (Required)IT Degree (Desirable)ITIL V3 Certified (Desirable)3-5 years in a similar role (Desirable)Linux knowledge (Desirable)Knowledge of Unisolve Pharmacy program (Desirable)Competencies:Rule Orientation | Adhering to Principles and Values | Following instructions and ProceduresClient centricity and CollaborationDelivering Results and Meeting Customer ExpectationsRelating and Networking | Team WorkStress ToleranceAnalytical AbilityPlanning and Organising | Problem SolvingIf you are interested, kindly apply below or send your CV and qualifications to ******, marked for Nancy's attention.
